Waist cincher is a belt worn around the waist to make the persons waist physically
smaller and below will know some history.

In 1947 Dior's "New Look" brought the waist cincher to market. Dior wrote about weist cincher: "I designed clothes for flower-like women, with rounded shoulders, full feminine busts, and hand-span waists above enormous spreading skirts".
When the practice of waist cinching grew, women began to wear girdles and cinchers as undergarments. After all waist cicher or "waspie" became one of the best undergarment of the "New Look".
There are still traditional boned corset styles in making modern corset. One of these classic styles are the " Spanish belts " that sometimes come with elastic at the back if the woman wants, which acts much like the waist cincher with the difference that the latter is more effective.
Some classic styles that current styles have taken on all its form and function, these work the same way as the elastic and lightweight styles that give accent to a body or to define the waist, some serve as a fashionable alternative to certain types rear medical support ; these styles are " under French chest " and " lower chest long line ".
The short corsets corsets used as sleeping or light corsets that can be used next to the skin or clothing. Some belt elastic band styles have been used inside the garments that enhance form, on their own as Shapeware
Now the waist cinchers are more comfortable than any other early shapewear ever was. There are a number of trends today that resemble the styles of earlier as wide elastic belts or modern styles real corset.
There are different models today, but the basic design remains the same : elastic in the back with a zipper in the front to better define the waist or wear a suit.
